- Self-evaluation is a natural step in my daily life. I always ensure to try to do my best whether it be in the classroom, in extracurriculars, or at home. One of the most obvious improvements I have made due to self-evaluations would be poster making. I have learned how to correctly create a poster in an efficient way. I always seek advice on what I should try to change about the posters and how to improve them. Another way I have sought advice was through the evaluations given out to the class. Mr. Chitwood and Olivia both evaluated how I was doing in the class, asked me questions, and gave me some advice on how to improve my roll as Campus Culture and Outreach Commissioner. I have taken in the advice and plan to start emailing calendars at the beginning of each month to English teachers to show to the class on their agendas. This will allow more students to be aware of what is coming up.
Semester 2: Interpersonal Skills
Strong leaders possess exceptional interpersonal skills that focus on active listening, taking the initiative, and collaborating positively.

- The #ICanHelp presentation by Kim Karr helped demonstrate ways to help promote digital safety, empower students to make change, and mitigate cyber bullying. The leadership class was able to get an extra three hour lecture on how to effectively take initiative on ways to reduce cyber bullying and how to report to an official. I learned of ways to help influence students on how to do the right thing, give students an understanding of their strength as a person, and how many connections they have to influence others. This entire presentation was able to put into perspective of how some things in the high school community must be changed and how we can fix it.
